At this point I don't why away from calling myself a fairweather M's fan. I'll start watching again when they start winning. Why TF would I want to watch bad baseball for 2 decades?

To some extent, Seattle Mariners reminds me of San Diego Chargers (now LA Chargers). The Chargers have had a tendency to choke once they are in the playoff games, even though they might have had excellent regular season records. The Mariners seem to share this tease-then-choke oscillation. :P

Lol I've been a die hard Mariners fan since Ken Griffey Jr baseball for Super Nintendo. I can't believe all the talent that has come and gone from this organization and nothing to show for it. Constantly trading away all the best prospects and keeping busts. Maybe it's the Mariners who knows. I can't help but root for the them still but wtf is the direction?! I'm sure we will trade Haniger soon and any good prospects we have in the minors. Please bring in the right management and coaches to get this team in the World Series in the next 5 years!!!!

Your electric closer in Edwin Diaz is also joining Cano on the shitty New York Mets. James Paxton, Trade him to the real New York Team in the Yankees. You do get that Justus Sheffield kid though. You also get Edwin Encarnacion (Probably spelled it wrong) in the off-season too.

Since the 13-2 start: And you punch your fans in the dick... again. Mitch Haniger punches himself in the dick... literally. Oh and you traded Encarnacion to the Evil Empire in the Yankees. Did I mention you are 38-51 now? That is 13 games under .500. To add insult to injury, you are 18 games behind the Astros, and 11 games back from the second wild card spot.

At least they have some fun veterans like Edwin Encarnacion and young talents like Mitch Haniger and Justus Sheffield to provide them entertainment and maybe just a little bit of hope for the future?

It's just an incredibly long and boring set of competitions between 2 individuals, the pitcher and the batter. Everyone else is completely irrelevant, and for the 0.5 to 20% of the game when they aren't, it merely turns the individual competition into an individual competition with an ancillary set of incredibly mundane acts to be performed by 1, 2, or at most 3 other individuals. It's such a fucking joke
